The Trevi nel Lazio Association.

Who we are.
The association “Friends of the Mountain” was born from a group of friends with in common their love for mountains, and who, throughout these last five years, have decided to unite their individual experiences to form an association which has the finality to promote excursionism and hiking as a logical consequence of going by foot “anyplace” where there may be distances to cover and within which there are works of art by nature itself to admire.
Going by foot infact, besides being the most healthy and beautiful sport in the world, gives us a chance not only to reach the most panoramic views on top of mountain peaks, but it also allows each of us to grow a new conscience in ourselves about the environment that sorrounds us.
In synthesis, this is what the philosophy of the association “Friends of the Mountain” proposes: to spread to all those who want to share its spirit, which is its basic purpose and is therefore fully reflected in the excursionistic hiking program of 2009.
All hiking partecipants will: attently respect and follow the program established by the couriers, have maximum respect for the visited environment, and of course avoid to leave rubbish, damage plants and flowers or take away stones and fossils.
Basic personal equipment must include: hiking boots, adequate season clothes, anti-rain cloak, woolen or cotton hat for cold or sunny weather, rucksack, water-bottle, and a foto-camera is recommended.
Partecipation to all excursions is free, except for eventual collective transfers.
